Zelda and Ganondorf Tears of the Kingdom amiibo announced

Zelda and Ganondorf from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom are getting new amiibo, Nintendo has announced. They’ll be available this holiday.

Nintendo has not yet detailed what functionality these two figures will have in game.

A Link amiibo for Tears of the Kingdom was previously made available at launch. By scanning the figure, you can receive weapons and materials, as well as a special fabric for Link’s paraglider. The Zelda and Ganondorf amiibo will likely act similarly.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is out now on Switch.
