All Captain Toad locations in Super Mario Bros. Wonder
Captain Toad plays a particularly helpful role in Super Mario Bros. Wonder, and as such, we’ll fill you in on all of his locations. He’s hidden in five different spots around the world map, and when you find him, he gives you lots of Flower Coins. If you need a bunch of Flower Coins to purchase some badges or standees, it’s a good idea to seek out Captain Toad to receive some for free.
As mentioned, there are only five different Captain Toad locations. It’s important to note that you can only receive Flower Coins from Captain Toad the first time you speak to him at each of these locations. If you go back to see him, he won’t have anything else to give you.
List of all Captain Toad locations
- In World 1, clear the Piranha Plants on Parade stage and use its secret exit. A path to a pipe will open – take that pipe and you’ll emerge right next to Captain Toad. He’ll give you a bunch of Flower Coins, too. If you don’t know how to find the secret exit, you need to jump above the diagonal pipe to the left right after collecting the first Wonder Seed.
- Still in World 1, head over to the Parachute Cap I Badge Challenge. There’s a pipe stuck in the top right corner here just out of view. Head over, hop in and you’ll emerge next to Captain Toad.
- In World 1 again, there’s a pipe directly southwest of the Wall-Climb Jump I Badge Challenge. Hop in, head directly easy, and hop in the hidden pipe in the corner of the room.
- The last two Captain Toad locations are in the Sunbaked Desert. For the first one, step on the panels on the floor to open the question-mark door. Head past Rolling-Ball Hill to find a hidden pipe in the top-right corner of this room.
- In World 4 again, go to the Secrets of Shova Mansion stage. From there, head left and work your way south and to the northwest corner of this little path. At the very end of it is one last hidden pipe that leads to Captain Toad.
That’ll be all five of them, then. If you’re looking for more guides on Super Mario Bros. Wonder, we’ve got a few others, too. There’s a list of all 24 Badges plus a list of 100% completion requirements. Be sure to check them out if you’re interested.
