Video: Fortnite Nintendo Switch vs. Switch 2 comparison

Another Nintendo Switch 2 comparison video has dropped, this time showing that version of Fortnite compared to Switch 1.

If you’ve played any of the battle royale title on the previous system, you should notice a substantial upgrade here. Epic already spoke about many of the improvements this week, but today’s video puts things in perspective.

For performance, Fortnite now targets 60 frames per second on Nintendo Switch 2 compared to 30 FPS on Switch 1. Resolution has also received a bump in both docked and handheld modes. Other improvements relate to textures, geometry, draw distance, shadows, and more. Also, Switch 2 adds SSR reflections, which weren’t present previously.
