First Elden Ring Nintendo Switch 2 footage surfaces, 15 minutes in total
The very first footage is now in showing Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition running on Nintendo Switch 2.
It seems that the game is playable at Fan Expo in Canada this week. We have docked footage, showing around 14 minutes of gameplay in total.
Elden Ring is also featured at Gamescom 2025 this week and early hands-on impressions have been mixed. The port seems to struggle in handheld mode in particular when it comes to frame rate. However, we unfortunately don’t have any footage undocked.
Perhaps because of the questionable performance, attendees weren’t able to record any footage of Elden Ring on Nintendo Switch 2 at Gamescom. The rules at Fan Expo seem to be different, however.
