Video: Assassin’s Creed Shadows Nintendo Switch 2 vs. PS5 vs. Xbox Series S graphics comparison
We have another look at Assassin’s Creed Shadows on Nintendo Switch 2 as a video has emerged that acts as a comparison for the PS5 and Xbox Series S versions.
There are cutbacks as expected – elements such as lighting, level of detail, textures, animations, shadows, draw distance, and reflections have been adjusted. Still, this is ultimately the same game you’re getting on other platforms, and the overall aesthetics have been maintained.
Right now the main point of concern is the frame rate. While Assassin’s Creed Shadows targets 30 frames per second, it struggles to hit that in urban areas with a higher density of NPCs especially. However, we could see improvements with future patches – Ubisoft has already promised post-launch updates.
