[Let’s Talk] Your favorite game of 2025

As we wrap up the year that was 2025, we want to take a moment for reflection and hear from you about your favorite game this year.

2025 was pretty massive for Nintendo. Fans had been waiting for a new console, and Nintendo Switch 2 finally delivered on those desires back in June. The system launched with Mario Kart World, but later we saw Donkey Kong Bananza, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment, and Kirby Air Riders. We also can’t forget about the original Nintendo Switch – it received Donkey Kong Country Returns HD, Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition, and Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2. Pokemon Legends: Z-A and Metroid Prime 4 were cross-gen releases. And obviously we’re not even mentioning third-party games, of which there were many.

I’m ashamed to say, but i’ve restarted Skyrim for the nth time despite many great(er) games gathering dust in my “still to play stack”.

Raidou Remastered. Looks like I’m near the end of the game and I’m really liking it. Hope they remaster the sequel soon. Some sidequests are annoying, but in general great game.

Bullet & Brains. Got in the NGG giveaway. Good game to pass time.

Aliens Infestation. Was organizing my DS Collection and had a sunden need to replay this one. Killed he Gorilla Xenomorph.

I’m playing mostly Metroid Prime 4, Golf Story and Capcom Arcade Stadium 2nd on the Switch. On the Xbox Series S I was playing Halo 1 campaign and Alan Wake 2. On the 3DS I’m finishing Bravely Default and on the Wii I was playing some Klonoa and Fire Emblem

Just finished a second play through of Prime 4 and already dreaming of the next one. Just started Journey to the Savage Planet last night and also Wario World in GameCube NSO.
