Afterlove EP launch trailer
With Afterlove EP launching today, Fellow Traveller and Pikselnesia are promoting the news with the latest trailer. Nintendo Switch owners can get their hands on the slice of life, music-focused adventure now.
If you’re interested in learning more about it, read the following overview:
Based in the bustling and busy urban capital of Jakarta, Indonesia, Afterlove EP players become Rama, a young musician working on his first EP. Rama has more than just chord progressions to contend with, however, as he struggles to move on from the passing of his girlfriend, Cinta, whose voice he continues to hear in his head. With just one month to go until a critical gig for him and his band, will Rama be able to get serious, get his (literal) groove back and get creating the new songs he’s been promising his band mates in time?
Across 28 days and nights, players will aim to navigate tricky decisions and gorgeously rendered side-scrolling paths through the city to help Rama move forward. Through a unique mix of visual novel, dating sim, and rhythm gameplay, Rama will embark on new relationships, try and repair existing ones, come to terms with the past and learn to shape a future for himself.
A true love letter to the developers’ home city of Jakarta, Afterlove EP is studded with a variety of locally made art and music. Featuring the manga-inspired art of famed Indonesian artist Soyatu and an original soundtrack from pop rock band L’Alphalpha, this is an authentic look at an underrepresented region.
