ARMS Direct live stream, blog

Today’s ARMS Direct will be kicking off in about an hour from now. The presentation should go live at 3 PM PT / 6 PM ET / 11 PM in the UK / 12 AM in Europe. Along with new information on ARMS, Nintendo will debut a new Splatoon 2 trailer.

– Charge up, then dash
– Dash to dodge an opponent’s attack
– Signature arms: Slamamander, Hydra, Coolerang

– Versus Mode: Fight, 2-on-2 Team Fight, V-Ball, Hoops, Skillshot, 1-on-100, ARMS Test and Training
– Items reconfirmed such as HP Juice
– V-Ball: knock explosive ball onto opponent’s court
– Hoops: game of basketball
– Skillshoot: break as many targets as possible
– 1-on-100: enemies appear one after another
– As you fight on, get in-game prize money
– Play the Arm Getter to get more arms
– May get an arm you already have, but duplicate arms have higher attack power

Battle modes

– Grand Prix: beat 10 fightesr in a row to become champ; varied fighters and rules
– Party Match: fight online for fun; players in the same lobby are matched up; lobby can support 10 systems, 2 players for 20 players
– Ranked Match: online multiplayer mode: 1-on-1; if you win, rank goes up, drops if you lose
– Local multiplayer supported
