Ace Attorney 5 will launch in Japan on July 25. Announcing the game’s release date out-of-the-blue wasn’t intentional – Capcom let the news accidentally slip through a blog post covering an upcoming event in Japan.
In any case, now we know that Ace Attorney 5 is just a few months away. Capcom needs to hurry up and announce an overseas release date!

The Iwata Asks: Animal Crossing: New Leaf discussion is finally available in English. It was originally published when the game launched in Japan last year, so we’ve been waiting quite some time for a translation.
You can find the full interview here. The six-page talk is filled with Animal Crossing: New Leaf goodness with Nintendo president Satoru Iwata, Koji Takahashi, Isao Moro, and Aya Kyogoku.
Swapnote update now live in North America
Posted on 11 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News | 0 comments
An extensive update is now available for Swapnote in North America. The upgrade was made available in Europe last week.
By applying the update, users will receive access to the following features:
– Take photos and record sounds you want to attach to your letters from within the software. You can still add them from the SD Card.
– Attach photos and sounds when you reply to letters.
– Choose a different ink color for each page.
– Filter letters by sender in the letter list.
I personally haven’t touched Swapnote in a looooong time, so this may be the motivation I need to boot up the app once again!
Thanks to Xan Grimo for the tip.

New 3DS update apparently boosts performance of certain software
Posted on 11 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, Rumors | 0 comments
The latest 3DS update may have been more significant than originally thought. After applying the update, it seems as though some software have seen a performance boost.
Rayman 3D and Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed are two big names that are being thrown around as running much smoother. Mii Plaza is supposedly better off now as well.
Is this something that anyone else has noticed?

Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon received a 35/40 score from Famitsu last month. That was just enough for the game to be included in the publication’s “Platinum Hall of Fame”. Titles that earn scores ranging from 35 through 40 are eligible for the award.
Next Level Games’ Brian Davis took to Twitter and posted confirmation that the studio did indeed receive the Platinum Hall of Fame Award for its work on Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon. Davis also shared a photo of the hardware:
