In addition to being the first game in the “Little Tail Bronx” series, Tail Concerto was also CyberConnect2’s first project. The title didn’t sell particularly well, and I’m sure Mamoru-kun met a similar fate.

Due to Tail Concerto’s poor sales, Namco Bandai wasn’t too interested in CyberConnect 2’s pitch for Solatorobo: Red the Hunter.

You might be wondering how the studio persuaded Namco Bandai into publishing the game given this fact.

Director Takayuki Isobe provided an explanation in an interview with Gamasutra:

“To overcome the weak points with Tail Concerto, we created massive amounts of assets, generating multiple concept documents, each time refining the world and settings to create a game with a very deep story and a detailed world view that even a mature audience could enjoy, and eventually were able to get the green light from our client.”

Remember how Atlus was asking fans if they’d be interested in a reprint for Radiant Historia last week? Well, it seems that the company will be publishing a new round of copies next month.

According to Amazon.ca, Radiant Historia will be available on March 19. Those who plan on purchasing the title can pre-order it from the retailer here.

Technically Atlus hasn’t confirmed a reprint, but I’d say this is a pretty good sign!

Pokemon Black/White players will have a chance to add Mewtwo to their game starting on Sunday.

You can obtain the Pokemon through regular means. Choose the “Mystery Gift” option from the main menu, followed by “Receive Gift” and “Yes”. After these instructions, select “Get Via Nintendo WFC,” then “Yes” once more.

As long as you aren’t accessing more than 11 wonder cards, Mewtwo will be ready for pick up at one of the game’s Pokemon Centers.

Mewtwo will have Shadow Ball, Electro Ball and Psystrike moves at his disposal. Additionally, the Pokemon will come with a King’s Rock and Premier Ribbon. Although most Pokemon learn Psystrike at level 100, your level 70 Mewtwo will be able to use the ability.

You’ll only have fifteen days to take advantage of this opportunity. The promotion ends on February 26.
