“Maximilian and the Rise of the Mutant Mudds (MUDDS) is a title that we revealed to the world back in June 2009 on IGN. Unfortunately, we could not find a home for MUDDS with a publisher. However, there seems to be a number of people out there who are still asking us about this game. Are there enough of you to warrant a release on DSiWare? Perhaps!

I propose this to you. If we receive over 1000 comments from different individuals on this blog post saying they want it, then we will bring MUDDS to DSiWare.”

Well, I definitely have to suggest commenting. DSiWare would be a great solution for everyone – Regenade Kid could release the project themselves, but fans would actually get a chance to play it!

Analysis from Anita Frazier…

Overall

“November sales represent the best November on record in terms of new physical retail sales. It bests November 2008 by roughly $30 million, and that time frame was at the height of the music/dance genre sales.”

“All categories were up over last year with the exception of portable hardware and software.”

“The 360 platform accounted for over 40% of total industry sales driven by the successful launch of Microsoft’s Kinect. Xbox 360 accessories accounted for 60% of that categories’ dollar sales this month.”

Nintendo Sells More Than 2.7 Million Wii and Nintendo DS Systems in November

Nintendo is still hot for the holidays. In November alone, eager holiday shoppers in the United States snapped up more than 2.7 million Wii™ and Nintendo DS™ systems. That equates to more than 1.2 million Wii systems and more than 1.5 million units from the Nintendo DS family of systems, according to the NPD Group, which tracks U.S. sales of video games.

“According to our internal numbers, Nintendo sold 600,000 Wii systems during Thanksgiving Week alone, an increase of 50,000 over 2009,” said Charlie Scibetta, Nintendo of America’s senior director of Corporate Communications. “Holiday shoppers are obviously responding well to the great value Nintendo products offer, from our special bundles to the social fun of our games.”

Nintendo has something for everyone, including hot bundles for the holidays:

Man, I can’t believe this game is finally coming out in a territory other than Japan. Now, where’s the announcement for North America?
