Cave Story DSiWare confirmed, European WiiWare version still on track
Posted on 14 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in DS, News | 5 Comments
Earlier today, we brought you the news that Cave Story is apparently in the works for DSiWare. We weren’t quite sure if Nintendo Power made a typo, but Nicalis confirmed just a short while ago that it is indeed happening. Believe it or not, the game is almost complete, and it’s “currently in final testing internally.” Nicalis also made mention of the European WiiWare version, of which it was said that it’s still on track to be released.
3DS conference to be held at Makuhari Messe

A week from today (give or take a few hours), we’ll finally know when the 3DS will be released and how much it’ll cost. It’s very likely that we’ll hear additional details about the system as well, such as Nintendo’s online plans for the system. While not an extremely significant tidbit, it has been confirmed today that the Big N will share all of the new 3DS information at the Makuhari Messe. Ironically, that’s the same venue where the Tokyo Game Show was held last week – of course, we know Nintendo hasn’t been a part of TGS the past several years.
