DigitalFoundry has returned with another technical analysis. Today, the outlet is taking a look at how Mighty No. 9 shapes up on Wii U. The results unfortunately aren’t pretty.

One of the biggest issues with Mighty No. 9 on Wii U is the frame rate. It’s uncapped, and due to dips, results in a very unstable experience. The action can apparently drop to as low as 12 frames per second.

Loading times can be another cause of frustration. It’s estimated that loading a new stage takes 20 seconds, with tedious waiting also needed after dying.

Here’s the full analysis, including a look at how the patch improves loading times slighty:

Freedom Planet has done very well for developer GalaxyTrail. Between the Wii U and Steam versions, the game has sold 250,000 copies.

GalaxyTrail posted on Twitter yesterday:

Freedom Planet 2 was announced towards the end of last year. It’s due out sometime in 2017.

Here’s an overview:

After suddenly being summoned to an unknown world, a high schooler by the name of Yusis learns of his destiny to become the Savior and face off against the Overlord?a being who threatens the destruction of Kreisia.

Kreisia?A world of three races coexisting under the banner of single kingdom.
Yet notwithstanding these different people being ruled over by a lone institution of government, life, for the most part, has continued on peacefully despite certain racial undertones pervading the hearts of some in society…

Yesterday we heard about a Splatoon clone from China that recently hit mobile devices. Today, a second Nintendo knock-off was released: “Pocket All-Stars Smash Bros.”

Unlike the Splatoon ripoff, the Smash Bros. game isn’t a complete copy at least. Nintendo characters are used, but it’s card-based and turn-based. Players can level up characters, and buying things is a part of the gameplay as well.

If you’re interested in seeing what Pocket All-Stars Smash Bros. is all about, view the video below for gameplay.
