Darkest Dungeon could hit 3DS and Wii U

Red Hook Studios’ Darkest Dungeon has experienced a great deal of success on Kickstarter. In just 24 hours, the “challenging gothic roguelike RPG” exceeded $75,000 in donations and received full funding.
Darkest Dungeon’s Kickstarter page mentions that the team is “very interested in consoles”, including 3DS. Red Hook Studios’ Tyler Sigman also told reader WALEED that “anything is possible” when it comes to Wii U.
“Anything is possible! We’ll have to see how the campaign goes and see if we can get enough funding to look at porting it to other platforms. The more interest there is, the more likely it is to happen!”
You can check out Darkest Dungeon’s Kickstarter here. If there’s any news about the game heading to Nintendo platforms, we’ll be sure to let you know.
Thanks to WALEED for the tip.

Wii U accounts for 2% of Ubisoft’s sales in Q3
Posted on 11 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii, Wii U | 23 Comments
Wii U accounted for a tiny portion of Ubisoft’s Q3 sales. How small are we talking about? 2 percent small.
Nintendo Life has the breakdown:
Q3 2013/2014
Wii U delivered 2% of sales — €10.4 million / £8.7 million / $14.2 million out of a total €520 million / £433 million / $710 million
First nine months of 2013/2014
Wii U delivered 4% of sales — €32.5 million / £27.1 million / $44.4 million out of a total €813 million / £677 million / $1110 million
Wii actually performed quite a bit better for Ubisoft, with last-gen’s console accounting for 11 percent of the publisher’s sales. Here’s the full rundown of shares for other platforms:
PlayStation 3 — 28%
Xbox 360 — 27%
PlayStation 4 — 12%
Wii — 11%
PC — 10%
Xbox One — 9%
At the end of the day, these results shouldn’t be too surprising given the installed bases of Wii U and Wii. Ubisoft also continues to produce Just Dance titles for Wii, which still seems to be a success on Nintendo’s last-gen console.

The future of the staff at Rune Factory developer Neverland was left uncertain after the company filed for bankruptcy late last year, but now Famitsu has revealed that the team is working on a brand new Simulation RPG published by Marvelous AQL. The game, titled “Forbidden Magna”, will be released for the Nintendo 3DS. This first scan gives a look at some of the game’s cast members named (clockwise, from red-haired dude) Lux, Charlotte, Beatrice and Diana.
Expect more information and higher quality images when this week’s Famitsu releases.

Well too bad because it looks like another Pokémon is on the way, according to leaked scans from an upcoming CoroCoro magazine.
