Nintendo has teamed up with YouTube for a new application on Wii. The free app is up and running in the US, and should be making its way to other territories “in the coming months”.
By signing in, you’ll be able to view your subscriptions and watch saved playlists. Additionally, users can navigate through different categories such as Gaming, Music, and trending videos.
The download takes up 118 blocks of space.

A new Wii update is now available for download. Given its successor will be out in just a few days, this could be the old console’s final firmware upgrade.
Nintendo hasn’t officially said what the new update does. One probable guess is that by applying firmware, you’ll be able to transfer content from the Wii to Wii U.
