Puzzle & Dragons Z has received a release date. Japan will be getting the game on December 12. GungHo Online Entertainment will be giving out a stylus as a limited launch bonus.

Nintendo is looking to sell more than five million 3DS units in Japan this year, Satoru Iwata said during a Monster Hunter 4 event held earlier today.

Iwata stated:

“There are more and more media reports suggesting that things aren’t going very well for the dedicated gaming hardware business. But that’s not true, at least for the 3DS in Japan.”

Iwata mentioned that more than 5.5 million 3DS units were sold last year. With Monster Hunter 4 due out next month, Nintendo’s goal should be attainable.
