Lead writer for Assassin’s Creed IV says the main story will take about 20 hours to complete
Posted on 11 years ago by Austin(@NE_Austin) in News, Wii U | 0 comments
“It’s about, I’d say, 45 minutes total content through the whole story. The main path in the game takes about 20 hours on average. Its actually quite a bit longer than other Assassins’ Creeds have been because the naval stuff gives a very different pace to the game, a very different feeling to the way exploration works.”

Platinum talks about making The Wonderful 101 with no blood
Posted on 11 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U | 0 comments
The Wonderful 101 is something that can be experienced by anyone. You can’t exactly say that about the studio’s previous titles (not counting the Clover, pre-Platinum era), keeping in mind that games such as Bayonetta, MadWorld, and Metal Gear Rising are filled with a lot of violence and blood.
But while creating The Wonderful 101, Platinum strove to make something that was without blood. Producer Atsushi Inaba and director Hideki Kamiya spoke about this very topic with Famitsu this week:
“Along those lines, we definitely were aiming to make a ‘game with no blood,’ similar to Viewtiful Joe and Okami. The Wonderful 101 has really fresh, invigorating visuals, and I think the visuals are really approachable to all walks of gamer. The hero-like look adds a nice balance to things, and you can enjoy the look for what it is and also for what lies under it.” – Inaba

n-Space not working on any games for Nintendo platforms for the first time in “probably 10 years”
Posted on 11 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, General Nintendo, News, Wii U | 4 Comments
n-Space has usually had something in development for Nintendo platforms at all times, but for the first time in “probably 10 years,” they have nothing in the works.
According to n-Space’s Dan O’Leary:
“It’s kind of a sad thing to say, because for a long time n-Space has been known as a Nintendo-friendly developer. We certainly have loved all our time working with them. We think their hardware’s great. We think more often than not they have the right mindset in the difficult game world we live in…There’s just very low demand right now for their work through the publisher side. Which is ironic, I think that’ll probably swing back. The news was just talking about how Nintendo was beating everybody with hardware sales. The DS and 3DS sales curves have been slower than publishers would have liked. That may change, but I can tell you right now we’re not working on anything.”
The studio found a niche on Nintendo handhelds over the past few years. n-Space worked on the Call of Duty and James Bond DS games. The company also made Heroes of Ruin, RollerCoaster Tycoon 3D, and the past couple of Skylanders 3DS releases.
