Wii U

Seeing some of these fighters in Nintendo costumes is incredibly bizarre… yet awesome at the same time.

– Play-calling entirely on the gamepad
– See basic formations, sets within them, plays to choose from
– “if you want to change from singleback to shotgun, all you have to do is press “shotgun”; no need to repeatedly tap the B or circle button to back all the way out.”
– It’s “all about speed”
– Gamepad displays a realtime view of line of scrimmage
– Use the touchscreen to redraw the play entirely if you want
– No longer restricted to preset hot routes
– Change defensive, pre-snap formations, zones, and routes
– Play the entire game on the tablet controller if you want

Nintendo of Europe provided an official photo of the European ZombiU Wii U bundle. Consumers in the continent will be able to purchase the product at launch.

In the ZombiU trailer we posted today, the final image of the video indicates that the game will be launching on November 13. That’s a bit odd given that the Wii U won’t be out until November 18.

I suppose this doesn’t matter too much. You will, after all, need a Wii U in order to play ZombiU. But it is definitely interesting that Ubisoft could be shipping the first title before the system hits store shelves.

Thanks to Einstein for the tip.

Capcom showed the first footage of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate Wii U during a live-stream event at New York Comic 2012 today. Take a look at the video above for a capture of the stream.

* Video should be live in a minute or two.

I actually didn’t think SEGA would be producing Special/Limited Edition versions of Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed on the Wii U/3DS, but I guess I was wrong!
