New Ubisoft anti-piracy feature is pretty clever

Ubisoft has implemented a new anti-piracy feature in Michael Jackson: The Experience on the DS. Gamers who attempt to load up the ROM will be greeted by constant vuvuzela noise as the tracks play out. Additionally, icons that are pressed on the touch screen will not appear, so, essentially, the title will be unplayable. Piracy has been an issue on the DS for quite some time, so it’s interesting to see what companies are coming up with to cut down on the issue

NERF “N-Strike” Double Blast Bundle Lands at Retail in Time for Holidays
REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – December 1, 2010 – The EA Play Label of Electronic Arts Inc. Much like the Chrono Trigger marriage proposal from 2008, Matt modified a copy of Earthbound in order to ask his new fiancé, Liz, to marry him during the “EarthBound Fanfest.” It’s pretty sweet – The dog was there to celebrate as well!
