Nintendo Direct – a summary … kind of (5/17)
Posted on 11 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in Features, General Nintendo, Videos, Wii U | 0 comments
I’m not going to lie: this may go down as the dumbest and possibly worst-produced thing I’ve ever posted on Nintendo Everything.
But now that we’re a little over a week removed from the latest Nintendo Direct and the E3 presentation hype is in full swing, I thought it’d be fun to take a look back at the May 17th broadcast.
This originally started out as a plain summary, but that changed a bit (okay, a lot) as I continued working on the video. So it’s “kind of” a summary. Or something.
Watch it and let me know what you think. This was my first attempt at anything video-related ever. Hopefully it wasn’t too terrible!
eBay Germany promotes Wii U with no used games blocking and no mandatory online mention
Posted on 11 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U | 0 comments
In a new Facebook post, eBay Germany points out a few reasons as to why consumers should consider purchasing a Wii U. It mentions: no used games blocking, no mandatory online, and no extra fuss.
The first two elements have been major points of contention when it comes to the Xbox One. Microsoft’s next-gen system will be implementing both items in one form or another, and haven’t sat well with the gaming community.
While not an explicit shot at Microsoft, the post does seem to be down on the Xbox One. Something tells me that Nintendo won’t mind…

Alright, so I know what you guys are thinking, “Why on earth would Warner Bros. Interactive and Traveller’s Tales release a year-old game on the Wii U when I can just buy it for less money on a different console?” Well I’m here to tell you that LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes on Wii U stands strong on its own with the integration of Wii U Gamepad controls. Not only is it a sequel, it’s a unique game on its own, allowing players to enjoy exploring the Batman Universe for a second time.

PS4/Xbox One/Wii U comparison chart
Posted on 11 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U | 0 comments
All three consoles are now out out in the wild. With this week’s announcement of the Xbox One, we can finally see how all next-gen systems stack up against each other.
IGN compiled a handy chart comparing the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Wii U. Technical points are included, but the chart also covers categories such as game installs, used game fees, motion control inputs, and more.
