Tingle was considered for Hyrule Warriors, possibility of other Nintendo Warriors games, Aonuma on Zelda Wii U and remakes

Technobubble published an interview with Zelda director/producer Eiji Aonuma and Koei Tecmo producer Yosuke Hayashi before the launch of Hyrule Warriors last year. While it’s a few months old, the discussion contains several noteworthy comments and we wanted to share those with you.
We hear, for example, that Tingle was considered for Hyrule Warriors as a playable character, but Aonuma advised the team against including him. Aonuma commented on the possibility of other Nintendo franchises seeing crossovers with the Zelda series, noted how he’s interested in applying what Hyrule Warriors did with bosses that move across the map for Zelda Wii U, and touched on Zelda remakes. On Hayashi’s side, he spoke about the possibility of Hyrule Warriors 2 and a few other topics.
Head past the break for several excerpts from the interview.

Video: Beating the Pac-Man exploit in Smash Bros. with R.O.B.
Posted on 10 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, Videos, Wii U | 0 comments
Looks like the Pac-Man exploit in Smash Bros. can be beaten after all! You’ll just need to use R.O.B. to take down the competition.
A look at the Game & Watch, Duck Hunt amiibo in Smash Bros.
Posted on 10 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, Videos, Wii U | 0 comments
Remember: every single character in Super Smash Bros. should be getting its own amiibo, so it shouldn’t come as a major surprise that we’re able to see some roster inclusions that don’t have figures yet. Of course, the only way to get access to amiibo like Game & Watch and Duck Hunt is by manipulating the game.
Video: Smash Bros. exploit allows Pac-Man team to travel high in the sky

Well, this isn’t good! Smash Bros. fans have managed to find an exploit that allows a team of two Pac-Man players to essentially become untouchable during matches. It’s done with the trampoline move, in which they bounce one another up into the sky. View a video of the exploit above.
Kirby and the Rainbow Curse file size, controller information
Posted on 10 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U | 5 Comments
Kirby and the Rainbow Curse will take up 3.5GB, Nintendo’s website confirms. Save files are another 1.5 MB. There are three save files, by the way.
The GamePad is mandatory for single-player in Kirby and the Rainbow Curse. Those who join in for co-op (up to three additional players) can use the Wii Remote, Wii U Pro Controller, or Classic Controller Pro.
