Aksys Game’s brings white knuckle action of air hockey to WiiWare!
Torrance, CA (January 19th, 2008) – Aksys Games, a publisher of interactive entertainment software, announces Family Glide Hockey is now available for download, exclusively on WiiWare™! Developed by ARC SYSTEM WORKS, creators of the Guilty Gear series and Family Table Tennis, players will once again embark on another American pastime!
For only 500 points, Family Glide Hockey features eye pleasing cel-shaded graphics and endearing music, while sporting easy competitive gameplay for all ages. Choose between single player mode, versus mode (up to 4 players can play), or challenge your skill in engaging mini-games.

Mini Ninjas features farting boss

Eidos announced their latest creation Mini Ninjas earlier today. What they didn’t tell you, however, is that the game will feature a farting boss. According to the ESRB, there is one particular boss fight that “attacks with flatulence, using fans to wave green gas clouds towards the player.” Check out the full ESRB description below:
“This is an action adventure game in which players control a small ninja as he explores forest environments, fetches items for others, and fights samurai enemies. The main character uses a sword to attack and defeat enemies, and there are occasional boss battles that use life meters to measure damage inflicted. One boss character attacks with flatulence, using fans to wave green gas clouds towards the player.”
MadWorld producer: MadWorld is not sinister, game is for adults only

It seems as though a few misinformed people are unaware of MadWorld’s real tone. The game is not just a bunch of violent sequences strung together. Rather, the developers have stated numerous times before that they are aiming for the game to be over-the-top in a comical sense. There doesn’t seem as though there should be a problem granted parents are aware of the game’s rating (and if media don’t take the game too seriously).
Klonoa director hopeful for an original game

“We currently don’t have anything planned [original Klonoa game], but I’m hoping we will be able to come up with a new Klonoa game.” – Klonoa director Hideo Yoshizawa
You may remember that Yoshizawa also told Nintendo Power that Klonoa 2 could end up on Wii. It looks as though a lot of Klonoa love is heading Nintendo’s way!
