Ubisoft Vancouver has been shut down. A spokesperson confirmed the news to Game Informer earlier today.
It was explained that Ubisoft “haven’t found the right formula for success for the talented team there.”
The spokesperson said:
“Ubisoft confirms that we have made the difficult decision to close its studio in Vancouver. Unfortunately, we haven’t found the right formula for success for the talented team there. We thank our Vancouver team for their hard work and the projects that they have delivered. Team members will have the opportunity to consider positions in other Ubisoft studios and we will work with each of them to help find the best next step, whether it be within Ubisoft or outside.”
Ubisoft Vancouver created a variety of sports titles, including Academy of Champions for Wii. The studio formed following Ubisoft’s acquisition of Action Pants back in 2006.

For the most part, this bundle hasn’t changed. It includes a copy of Zelda: Skyward Sword, a CD, and a Wii Remote Plus. However, the golden controller in the current bundle will be swapped out with a standard Wiimote.
