Ziggurat Interactive has provided a small update for the Switch release of Deadly Dozen Reloaded. The game is now set for a Summer 2022 release window, updated from its previously planned Spring release.

Deadly Dozen Reloaded is a reimagining of the 2001 squad-based stealth game, Deadly Dozen. This version will add several new features, including updated enemy AI, adjusted vehicle physics and optional permadeath.

Check out more info on Deadly Dozen Reloaded below:

Assemble your squad from a roster of twelve playable characters, each with individual stats, weapons, and equipment proficiencies, and take them behind enemy lines to complete dangerous objectives crucial to the Allied war effort. Design your team around your preferred playstyle, whether that means going full-on sneaking and stealth, or running-and-gunning through enemy lines. Hot-swapping between individual characters will let you put the right person in the right place at the right time! Complete control of your squad is available in the form of the Squad Wheel — allowing players to direct movement, combat orders, formations, and more.

Key features of Deadly Dozen Reloaded include:

  • Reimagined for the Modern Era: Graphics and audio aren’t the only things receiving updates. Enemy AI is now more sophisticated, making fights more engaging, and reworked vehicle physics make driving to objectives more fun and realistic.
  • Ten Giant Missions: Large, faithfully recreated maps containing objectives that can be tackled in any order. Each mission offers a rich tactical environment, offering ample opportunities for strategy, stealth, and combat.
  • Customizable Loadouts: Eleven different weapons — six American and five German — and seven types of equipment, including first aid kits, binoculars, and a variety of explosives, allow players to customize squad members to suit their play style and mission objectives.
  • No More Permadeath: Players can experience heart-pounding escapes with half of their team and fallen squad-mates will recuperate for the next mission. No more reloading save files!
