Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes sequel planned despite director’s death
Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is currently planned to have a sequel. Rabbit & Bear Studios, the studio behind the new RPG, recently shared the news.
The company addressed sequel chances in a Reddit AMA. Some fans are interested in the future of IP given that Yoshitaka Murayama, the director of the game, passed away earlier this year.
Rabbit & Bear Studios shared the following:
“We are moving forward with a sequel. It is very sad that Murayama is not with us anymore, but we have discussed many things with him. I hope we will be able to carry on Murayama’s legacy, and I always want to treasure his last work. I hope many people will support this game.”
Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is the second game in the franchise. Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising, which was primarily handled by Natsume Atari, launched in 2022.
