GoldenEye 007 re-release online multiplayer is exclusive to Switch

The inclusion of online multiplayer for GoldenEye 007’s re-release is exclusive to Switch, it’s been confirmed.
The acclaimed shooter GoldenEye 007 is finally making a comeback with the game set to appear on Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack. It’ll also be coming to Xbox Game Pass as well. However, players that pick up the Xbox version won’t have access to online multiplayer.
Here’s some information about the game:
The popular game – based on the 1995 film – lets players control Bond through a series of levels following the GoldenEye film story. In multiplayer mode, up to four players can compete in several scenarios based on elements from You Only Live Twice, The Living Daylights, The Man With the Golden Gun and Licence to Kill.
GoldenEye 007 ranks as the third best-selling Nintendo 64 game of all time and is one of the most influential and seminal games of the first-person shooter genre, paving the way for modern day franchises such as Call of Duty and Halo.
GoldenEye 007 will be available on Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack in the future.
