Gouging Fire location in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet The Indigo Disk

With our latest Pokemon Scarlet and Violet guide, we’ll get into the specific location as to where you can find Gouging Fire as part of The Indigo Disk DLC.
Gouging Fire is the new past Paradox form of Entei, and it’s available in Area Zero in the DLC. However, this one is actually a Scarlet exclusive. You can only catch one Gouging Fire per save file, unfortunately, and you’ll need to have caught at least 200 Pokemon for your Blueberry Academy Pokedex. From there, you can talk to Perrin in the Savanna biome of the Terarium to start a postgame quest that takes you back to Area Zero – and this is where you can catch both Gouging Fire and Raging Bolt.
Where to find Gouging Fire in Pokemon Scarlet
To get to the location for Gouging Fire as quickly as possible, head up to the Great Crater of Paldea and hop right in. You’ll appear in the upper section of Area Zero, and Gouging Fire is located directly across from you near a big satellite dish. If you’ve unlocked the ability to fly with Koraidon or Miraidon, this’ll be a really easy trip. Just fly over the big gap in Area Zero and land near the satellite and you’ll find it, as shown in the image above. It appears at Level 75 and has a signature move called Burning Bulwark. This move protects its user from all incoming attacks, and if you use a physical move against it with the barrier up, your Pokemon will get burned. Be careful!
