[Let’s Talk] E3 2019 Nintendo Direct reactions
Posted on June 15, 2019 by Brian(@NE_Brian) in Let's Talk, Switch
Just like that, E3 2019 is over. It was a busy week of announcements, with Nintendo contributing a lot to the news cycle.
The latest Nintendo Direct aired on Tuesday. A number of announcements were made, including a sequel to Zelda: Breath of the Wild, No More Heroes 3, Trials of Mana (and its previous collection coming west), Contra Rogue Corps, Panzer Dragoon Remake, Empire of Sin, and The Dark Crystal. A number of ports also appeared such as The Witcher 3, Spyro Reignited Trilogy, and Alien: Isolation. On top of that, we got first looks and release dates for the likes of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Zelda: Link’s Awakening, and Luigi’s Mansion 3.
Now that we’ve had a few days to digest everything, how do you feel about Nintendo’s presence at E3 2019, and the Direct in particular? What was your personal highlight of the show? Let us know in the comments below.
Highlights from last week’s topic: What are you playing? – June 2019
I REALLY want to get into Team Sonic Racing, but the Switch version’s lack of any online party system to play with friends against randoms really ruins it for me.
Dragon’s Dogma and Baba is You will hold me over until Mario Maker 2 comes out.
I just finished the last of the eight games in the Castlevania Collection yesterday. It has a lot of glaring omissions, and some strange inclusions (I really would’ve preferred Dracula X over Kid Dracula), but was an overall good set. It was my first time getting to play Belmont’s Revenge and Bloodlines too.
That leaves me with not much going on and not wanting to start something else just yet as Persona Q2 releases in a couple days. And then Bloodstained, Mario Maker 2, Dragon Quest Builders 2, and Fire Emblem all come out within a really short span of time. So yeah, technically, I’m not playing anything right now. But I feel like I’m going to playing everything in a couple weeks. ^^;
Come IA-VT, Hatsune Miku, Project Diva, Persona Dancing games.
