Lots of PoPoLoCrois Bokujou Monogatari details

Last week’s Famitsu offered a first look at PoPoLoCrois Bokujou Monogatari (otherwise known as PoPoLoCrois Harvest Moon). We now have a bunch of translated details from the magazine. Head past the break for the full rundown!

Story outline

– The story takes place when Pietro is a boy
– PoPoLoCrois is a peaceful land where prince Pietro and co. live
– Mysterious monsters called “black beasts” appear and cause anxiety
– A beautiful woman called Marumera appears during Pietro’s birthday
– Marumera is a diplomat from Garari Land and has a counter plan for black beasts
– In order to study the counter plan and save PoPoLoCrois, Pietre sets off to Garari Land
– However, that was a part of an invasion plan made by Qliphoth of darkness
– At Garari Land, Pietre realizes the true colors of his enemies who threaten the world
– Before long, Pietre runs into a fairy in a farm
– Guided with a poem named The light of Garariel, he starts his grand adventure
– Pietre decides to save both PoPoLoCrois and Garari Land with his reliable friends

Gameplay details

– features many familiar situations, characters and music tracks from the series
– Ex: the first game PoPoLoCrois Story starts at Pietre’s birthday party, and this game has a similar setting
– Players can explore PoPoLoCrois kingdom as well as Garari Land, meet different personalities, and fight monsters
– Garari Land has many unseen monsters
– Scenery includes castle town and a deep forest
– Players may see familiar faces in familiar places
– (At least) party characters are voiced
– Command-based battle system with normal and special attacks and character growth

Farming

– When the story progresses, players can use farms located at different places
– You can do things like grow crops and take care of animals at a farm
– Can enjoy the slow life and get money/items that help in battles
– Players can enjoy farm life the way they want
– Possible to plant seeds, water them, etc.
– If you take good care of your crops, they grow day after day and get exceptional healing effects

Party characters

Pietro
– Has a strong sense of justice and is curious
– Wields (at least) a sword

Narcia

– Lives in a deep forest and is called witch of the forest
– Has stong feelings for Pietro and is willing to follow him wherever he goes

White knight

– Loves justice and is like an elder brother for Pietre

Devil King Gamigami

– Loves treasures and inventions
– Self proclaimed “evil devil king”
– Has strong self-confidence and came to Garari Land with great ambitions
