March 2025 Nintendo Direct live stream, live blog

The next week is going to be insane for Nintendo news, and the fun starts today with a March 2025 Nintendo Direct presentation starting in one hour, and along with that, we’ve got the official live streams for all regions plus a live blog. This will kick off at 7 AM PT / 10 AM ET / 2 PM in the UK / 3 PM in Europe.

Today’s event will be about 30 minutes long, which will cover Nintendo Switch games. We will not be hearing about Nintendo Switch 2 – that will follow a week from today.

We have the March 2025 Nintendo Direct live streams for North America, Europe, and Japan below. On top of that, our live blog will begin below once the event begins. Stick with us throughout today as we’ll have much more coverage during and after the event.

• Our Direct opens with Dragon Quest 1&2 HD-2D Remaster footage. The games show off adorably animated sprites in a colorful 3D overworld — The game is set to come out some time this year with no full release date announced.
• No Sleep for Kaname Date – AI Somnium Files – An internet idol has been trapped in a mysterious escape game and you will be tasked with investigating the incident and solving puzzles in order to save the girl, Iris. Release July 25. 2025
• RAIDOU Remastered: Mystery of the Soulless Army — from the same folks that brought us Shin Megami Tensei, this action RPG will follow a detective that uses demons to get through the strange incidents. Launches  June 19, 2025
• New Pacman game, where you can fuse with Pacman (Puck) 7/18/25 -2D platformer with light horror elements
• Patapon 1+2 Replay announced with both rhythm games in one, this rhythm fighter has updated visuals that look amazing in the high contrast style. Launches July 11, 2025
• Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar – this originally was a Nintendo DS title, but seems to now be a complete and full remake from what we are seeing graphically. August 27, 2026
• Metroid Prime 4 Beyond revealed. Overgrown jungle areas are plentiful, you will have first person view as Samus. You are on stranded on Planet Viewros, which you are tasked with escapting. You will scan different relics and items on the island to explore and forge you path. There are hoards of alien creatures on the island interested in making you into their lunch, but as you explore you will uncover ancient powers and abilities that allow you to move forward with your escape efforts. These psychic abilities and mysterious happenings will slowly be uncovered through what looks to be a very rich story in a very detailed and colorful world. Coming this year.
• Disney Villains Cursed Cafe – A point and click style potion making game where you will serve some pretty wicked drinks to Disney’s most iconic bad guys and gals. Launches today.
• Witchbrook. Attending a spellcasting academy, players will take classes, take on odd jobs, and even craft and sell items. Online co-op for up to 4 players. Arrives Holiday 2025
• The Eternal Life of Goldman: A platforming adventure where you are an old man with a modular cane exploring a whimsical archipelago this year.
• Gradius, Salamander, Life Force, Gradius 2, Gradius 3, and Salamander 2 (And brand new 3!) will be out in an a compilation August 7
• Rift of the NecroDancer – rhythm battler and musical mayhem. DLC will be available. Launches Today
• From the Tamagotchi Connection series comes Tamagotchi Plaza where players will have their Tamagotchi and complete minigames, customize their little monster. Arrives June 27, 2025
• Pokemon Legends Z-A. Lumiose City is our setting, where Wild Zones are scattered all over town. Pokemon can live comfortably here and be caught. Some are hostile and will be aggressive to the player. Pokemon will be wild in the residential areas, too. Nightfall brings Z-A Royale tournaments where trainers await in Battle Zones. This game looks a lot more battle-focused than our last Legends Adventure that was more exploration focused. Mega Evolution is shown off. There are ranks for the Z-A Royale. Late 2025 launch window.
• Rhythm Heaven Groove shown,where various tasks and mini games from will need to be completed to the music. Launches 2026
• Nintendo shows off cartridge use and now shows a new system with Virtual Game Cards that can be used for digital games. When purchasing the digital version of a game, it loads on to your system as a Virtual Game Card that you can manage on a special screen. You can eject a Virtual Game Card from on system and play it on another now. You’ll be able to use this on two systems via local communication. Local communication seems required for setup. Loaning out these game cards is possible on your Nintendo Switch Online Family Group. Lending one game at a time per account is allowed, these loans last two weeks and then are automatically returned to you. This works on Switch and Switch 2 and will be added next month.
• A rapid reel of games like High On Life, King of Meat, Lou’s Lagoon, Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time
• SaGa Frontier 2 Remastered launches today!
• Monument Valley and Monument Valley 2 – Puzzles and optical illusions. April 15, 2025 for these, with Monument Valley 3 arriving later this summer.
• Everybody’s Golf: Hot Shots – Golf tournaments with special abilities and obstacles. Some of these silly hazards are also abilities of characters. Up to four players online, arrives later this year.
• MARVEL Cosmic Invasion – A classic arcade-style Beat em up launches later this year.
• Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream – Arrives 2026
• A new channel will be launched called Nintendo Today! for mobile. New events will be shown and new content each day on an interactive calendar. This app will be available later today.
