HORI is planning a new Switch Split Pad Pro for Mega Man, a listing on Amazon reveals.
The controller, which is officially licensed by Nintendo and Capcom, has been completely decked out with the classic character showing up on both sides. The entire thing is in blue as well, which acts as another nod to the Capcom icon.
The Split Pad Pro offers a “full-size controller experience in handheld mode” with full-size analog sticks, a precision d-pad, and large shoulder buttons that are “designed for comfort and accuracy, even during marathon gaming sessions.” As bonuses, it also contains assignable rear triggers, Turbo functionally, and more. Note that the controller does not include motion controls, HD Rumble, NFC, or IR camera support.

Amazon is listing the new Split Pad Pro for release on December 17 – if there are any changes to the release date, we’ll be sure to let you know. Pre-orders are now open here.
HORI kicked off its Switch Split Pad Pro with Daemon X Machina in 2019. We’ve seen a few different designs since then, including ones for Pac-Man, Pokemon, and Monster Hunter.
