Metroid Prime 4: Beyond has sold over 1 million copies, Nintendo confirms
Metroid Prime 4: Beyond has sold over one million copies, Nintendo has confirmed.
This week, the company reported its latest financial results. Some new games made Nintendo’s latest million sellers, but Metroid Prime 4 was nowhere to be seen. That led to some concerns significantly underperforming. We don’t have an exact number, but we can safely say it’s over one million when combining both versions (Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch).
Also keep in mind that the latest data Nintendo has is up through December 31. Metroid Prime 4 launched at the start of December, so while the game’s sales are likely frontloaded (it won’t be an evergreen title like Mario Kart), the latest results are based on only a month of sales.
You can find the latest list of million sellers from Nintendo on both Switch 2 and Switch here. We also have details from the new financial repot here.
Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is available now worldwide.
