Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Collector’s Edition revealed
Original (3/15): A collector’s edition is on the way for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, Capcom has confirmed.
All copies will include a digital voucher for the Deluxe Edition of the expansion in addition to physical goodies. The extras include a sticker pack, enamel pin, steelbook case, and an amiibo figure of Malzeno. Pricing is set at $99.99, and we have a look at the contents above.
Keep in mind that the Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Collector’s Edition will not include a copy of the Monster Hunter Rise base game. However, new players can go for the $70 Monster Hunter Rise + Sunbreak set in digital versions for Switch. The set comes with the standard edition of Monster Hunter Rise, as well as the Sunbreak expansion.
This isn’t the first collector’s edition for Monster Hunter Rise, as fans will remember. Capcom also released a special set last year for the title’s initial launch. Copies came with the base game, Deluxe Kit extra contents, Magnamalo amiibo, monster icon sticker pack, and an enamel pin.
Capcom announced just a short while ago that Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak launches for Switch on June 30, 2022. We’ll let you know when pre-orders for the collector’s edition go live.
Update (3/22): Pre-orders are now open here. Note that this is a GameStop exclusive.
