Capcom finally shared a new update about Gaist Crusher. We have a bunch of screenshots (and art) from the game as well as official details.
Read on below for a summary of Gaist Crusher’s latest information:
– Begins in the year 2047
– The rare metal “Gaimetal” was found 50,000m in the depths of the land
– This metal contains the purest form of energy
– It was considered a discovery of a whole new resource of energy
– Since then, the entire world has been digging mines in search of this new form of energy
– Metallic organisms covered in Gaimetal known as “Gaist” appear in the year 2055
– The Gaist have started to assault mankind
– The best scientists from around the world gather to create the super nation countermeasure organization known as the Gaist Crusher Garrison (GCG)
– Officially set in the year 2064 when the main story events begin, in Steel City
– Tekkou Ryujin: Gaist that appears in Steel City; has an intense God-like appearance of a mythological dragon; the first giant Gaist that Recca encounters
– Onmyo Yatagarasu: bird-type Gaist that appears in Steel City; takes the form of the Yatagarasu, the mythological three-legged crow; won’t hesitate to take on even the mightiest Gaist, but it will be up to the Gaist Crusher to stop this giant bird; when the Onmyo Yatagarasu spreads its wings, it will do powerful attacks using its sharp claws; it will require a finesse to counter its attacks and give it everything you got
