Onimusha: Warlords will have a physical release on Switch in Japan

Capcom announced Onimusha: Warlords for Switch earlier today. More than a decade after its release on the PlayStation 2, the title is finally seeing a return on new platforms.
The one downside is that Capcom isn’t offering a physical version of Onimusha: Warlords on Switch in the west. It’s especially disappointing since that isn’t the case on other platforms.
In Japan though, the situation is different. Capcom just announced Onimusha: Warlords for the territory, and also confirmed a physical release on Switch. This is similar to Okami HD which only had a physical version on Switch in Japan. Based on that game’s release, English should be included here as well.
Capcom will launch Onimusha: Warlords in Japan on December 20. The west will have it on January 15.
