Reshiram location guide for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Reshiram location Pokemon Scarlet Violet

Our coverage of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s Legendary Pokemon continues today with a Reshiram location guide, including its exact location on the Paldean map plus instructions on how to spawn it in the Indigo Disk DLC.

Reshiram, Zekrom, and Kyurem make up the Tao trio, which first appeared in Pokemon Black and White. This time around, neither Reshiram nor Zekrom are version exclusives. That means you can get all three Legendary Pokemon regardless of whether you’re playing Scarlet or Violet.

Reshiram Map Location

As with all 25+ returning Legendary Pokemon in Scarlet and Violet, Reshiram is obtained via Snacksworth, an NPC who appears at the entrance of Blueberry Academy after you finish the main story. Every time you complete 10 Solo Quests or 1 Group Quest, you will receive a random snack that attracts a corresponding Legendary Pokemon to a specific location in Paldea. In Reshiram’s case, you’ll need to clear Solo Quests alone or Group Quests via Union Circles over and over again until you get the Reshiram snack – which gives you your Reshiram location at the area shown above. Given that there are over 20 Legendary Pokemon locked behind Snacksworth, you’ll need to do lots and lots and lots of Blueberry Academy Quests to catch them all.

Reshiram spawns slightly south of Zapapico up on a cliff. It appears at Level 70, and three of the four moves it knows are Fire-type attacks. Bring a Pokemon who resists Fire or is immune to it altogether (something with Flash Fire like Heatran or Ceruledge) and you should be good to go. Try to catch it in a Premier Ball if you want to match the Poke Ball’s colors to the Pokemon.

In addition to Reshiram’s guide, we have guides available for more Legendary Pokemon locations, and you can find our master list of them through this link. Feel free to let us know if you have any suggestions for future guides, too.
