Rumor: Multiple Ubisoft games heading to Nintendo Switch 2, Metal Gear Solid Delta also coming
Nate the Hate has made more claims regarding upcoming third-party Nintendo Switch 2 games, including titles from Ubisoft and Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. Details were shared during a new podcast episode today.
As for Ubisoft’s Nintendo Switch 2 support, it’s claimed that we’ll be seeing Assassin’s Creed Mirage within the launch window. Assassin’s Creed Shadows is apparently planned as well, but will follow at a later date.
It’s claimed that “Ubisoft is doing more than half a dozen games for the Switch 2, and a lot of them are going to be late ports.” Franchises such as The Division and Rainbow Six Siege were specifically mentioned. Additionally, a Mario + Rabbids collection could be possible that features both entries in the series. “It’s just a question of when will these games come out, and I think for Ubisoft, if they can port the game, they will port the game,” Nate the Hate said.
As mentioned above, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is also rumored for Nintendo Switch 2. There’s hope of it launching on the console alongside other platforms, but naturally that is not confirmed at this time.
Earlier today, we also reported from the Nate the Hate podcast that Nintendo Switch 2 will apparently be announced this Thursday, which you can read about here. Last week’s podcast claimed that Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth and Remake as well as lots of Xbox support are in the pipeline. You can listen to the latest podcast episode here.
