Samus Aran Metroid Dread figma release date set for October 2023, new photos, pre-orders open

Good Smile has provided an update on its Samus Aran Metroid Dread figma with a final release date, new photos, and pre-orders.
The figure was first announced in February of this year, but was only shown with a concept image. Today, Good Smile announced that the Samus Aran Metroid Dread figma will be available in October 2023.
Samus’ latest figure is inspired by the suit she starts out with in Metroid Dread. Since it’s a figma, it has posable joints for a variety of poses. Good Smile notes that “a flexible plastic is used for important areas, allowing proportions to be kept without compromising posability.” The figure’s knee joints are made with specially designed double joint parts.
The figure comes with Morph Ball and Omega Cannon parts. Additionally, a Spider Magnet figure base, which is made with magnets, is included so that Samus can have a wall pose. You’ll also be getting a gripping hand part, open hand part, and multi-purpose hand part.
