Sclash release date set for August, new trailer

Sclash release date

Original (3/17): Publishers Just For Games and Abinding Bridge, alongside indie developer Bevel Bakery, today shared a final release date for Sclash. The title is due out for Switch on August 4, 2023.

Sclash was previously announced for Switch last August. The project was originally given a general 2023 launch window.

Slash your way to victory! Sclash is an easy to pick-up but hard to master 2D samurai fighting game full of tension, where one hit is enough to kill.

Play as hand-drawn samurais in beautiful painted settings and fight your opponent in epic and solemn duels where each move matters. Manage your stamina, breath and take your time to land a deadly hit.

Choose between 5 characters and battle offline and online in 16 beautiful stages to unlock 50+ skins for your samurais!

Update (8/5): The official launch day came and went, but Sclash is still unreleased. Just For Games is now saying that the title is launching later in 2023. The delay was not officially acknowledged, and it’s unclear why the project was pushed back.
