Switch sales surpass three million in Spain

Switch has reached a new sales milestone in Spain, as it’s now confirmed that the console has surpassed over three million units in the country.
We previously reported that Nintendo’s system sold over two million units in October 2021. It took about two years to add another million onto the total. The one million mark was reached by the end of 2019.
Switch is one of the more successful gaming devices in Spain. It took the PS4 less time to reach three million, but Switch did overtake Wii’s global figures and is only behind DS as Nintendo’s best-selling platform ever.
Spain’s sales account for just a small amount of Switch’s overall total. Since launch, the console has sold over 132.46 million units as of September 30, 2023.
