Arcade Archives Image Fight is making its way to Switch next week, Hamster has announced. A release is planned for May 23.

Image Fight is a vertical shooter that debuted in 1998. Irem was the game’s original developer.

Pricing for Arcade Archives Image Fight is set at $7.99 / €6.99 / £6.29.

Hamster will release Arcade Archives Butasan on the Switch eShop this week, the company has announced. All regions will be getting the game on May 16.

During its latest live stream, Hamster announced a new game planned for its Arcade Archives series. Though we don’t have a specific date yet, Tecmo Bowl will be coming to Switch.

Hamster has been slowing down with NeoGeo releases on Switch, but the company has been bringing out plenty of classic arcade games. Aside from Tecmo Bowl, other upcoming titles include Image Fight, Butasan, and Karate Champ.

Hamster has announced that Ninja Gaiden will be released this week as the latest addition to the Arcade Archives series. A worldwide release is planned for May 9.

Ninja Gaiden for arcades was actually quite a bit different from the NES title. As opposed to being a side-scrolling action-platformer, the arcade edition was a beat ’em up.

Arcade Archives Ninja Gaiden will cost $7.99 / €6.99 / £6.29 on the Switch eShop.

Hamster has determined its next Arcade Archives title for Switch. Psycho Soldier will be out worldwide on April 25, the company announced during a live stream today.

Psycho Soldier is an action game that first debuted in 1986. It was developed by SNK, and acts as a spiritual sequel to spiritual sequel – another arcade title.

The current lineup for Arcade Archives also includes Image Fight, Butasan, Karate Champ, Ninja Gaiden, and Victory Road – almost all of these were confirmed previously. As for the ACA NeoGeo series, it has gone on hiatus for the time being, meaning there are no imminent releases. The company seems to be in the planning stage, and there is suggestion that development may resume at some point.

Samurai Shodown V Special is coming to Switch this week as the system’s latest NeoGeo game, Hamster has announced. A worldwide release is planned for April 18.

Here’s a brief overview of the game:

Last week, Hamster announced that it was partnering with Konami to bring Time Pilot to Switch under the Arcade Archives banner. The collaboration won’t stop there.

During a live stream today, Hamster announced that it will release even more classic Konami games. These include Pooyan, Road Fighter, VS. Gradius, and Yie Ar Kung-Fu.

Specific release dates have not yet been announced. However, each one should roll out over the next few weeks.
