Old Man’s Journey looks to be launching on Switch very soon. The game now has a listing on the Japanese eShop, showing a release date of February 22 for 1,000 yen. Pre-loading is live as well.
Broken Rules has yet to announce this news officially. However, we would expect that the North American and European release would take place around the same time.

It’ll be hitting the eShop on November 5, according to a newly-shared teaser. That date presumably applies to both North America and Europe, though we’ll let you know if we hear otherwise.

Broken Rules bringing Electronic Super Joy to Wii U, Secrets of Raetikon unlikely
Posted on 9 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U eShop | 0 comments
Earlier this year, Electronic Super Joy: Groove City launched for Wii U. The original game is now bound for the eShop as well.
Yesterday, Broken Rules teased the following on Twitter:
A press quote of the game we're currently porting to Wii U. "Visually stunning, hilarious, and brutally challenging.", 9/10, Destructoid.
— Broken Rules (@brokenrules) August 15, 2015
The comment there matches up with Destructoid’s review of Electronic Super Joy. That means we should be seeing the title on the eShop at some point in the near future.
In other news Broken Rules rules, the studio has pretty much ruled out the possibility of Secrets of Raetikon for Wii U. Another developer would need “to rebuild the engine to support multi-threading” in order to create a port.
Which is a shame, because it would go so nicely along @Chasing_Aurora. So if there are any takers, let us know!
