Capcom Fighting Collection 2 Project Justice, Plasma Sword

As we approach the launch of Capcom Fighting Collection 2, we’re getting game-specific spotlights starting with Project Justice and Plasma Sword: Nightmare of Bilstein.

Both of these titles are 3D fighters. Project Justice first debuted in 2000 (2001 in the west). Plasma Sword actually came out early in 1998, and acts as a sequel to Star Gladiator.

Capcom Fighting Collection 2 additions, improvements, changes

Capcom Fighting Collection 2 is heading to Nintendo Switch this month, and new details are available going over all additions, improvements, and changes.

Pretty much all of the included games have had work done in one way or another. As one example, certain characters have been made available under the hidden characters setting. There are other things too such as Sound Style in EX Settings, some visual adjustments, Project Justice letting players use Pre-made Edit Characters in matches, and more.

Capcom Fighting Collection 2 release date

A final release date was just announced for Capcom Fighting Collection 2. The package is slated for May 16, 2025 on Nintendo Switch and other platforms.

Capcom Fighting Collection 2 was a big announcement when it was revealed during a Nintendo Direct last year. It was given a 2025 release window at the time. New features are planned including online play with rollback netcode and quality-of-life updates across all eight titles.

Marvel vs Capcom release date

Thanks to the Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase, Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics (read about it here) now has a release date. The package is scheduled for September 12, 2024 (the physical release is planned for November 22).

Capcom Fighting Collection 2 was also announced. It launches in 2025.
