GSD data provides a look at the best-selling games across Europe in March 2024. It’s based on data for all physical game releases in major markets plus digital game sales from most major publishers.

EA Sports FC 24 was the top seller of the month. Princess Peach: Showtime did not crack the top ten, landing at #23. This is partially due to EA flooding Steam with Command & Conquer games, which took up a number of different spots.

Princess Peach: Showtime was Nintendo’s big release for the month, but it settles for second place. Just over 100,000 copies were sold. Unicorn Overlord also cracks the top five.

UK sales for March 2024

Thanks to GamesIndustry, we have new insight into the UK gaming market for March 2024.

There’s not a whole lot of excitement this month with EA Sports FC 24 the highest charting Switch game at #2. Princess Peach: Showtime comes in at #30, but it released late and the month. Command & Conquer also saw a 17-title bundle which impacted the chart this month a bit.

The latest UK software sales chart for the week ending April 6, 2024 is now available.

The top two remain the same with EA Sports FC 24 and Hogwarts Legacy at #1 and #2 respectively. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is the first Switch exclusive to appear at #4.

In a recent news post sent out to Switch owners, Nintendo provided a listing of the top 15 European eShop downloads for March 2024.

It’s an old favorite returning to the top with Minecraft appearing at #1. Princess Peach: Showtime, which came out late in March, ends up at #2.

The latest Japanese hardware sales from Famitsu are as follows:

Nintendo shared new data today revealing the top 20 best-selling games on the Japanese Switch eShop for March 2024.

Princess Peach: Showtime launched at the end of the month, but still managed to crack the top of the ten. Elsewhere, it’s actually Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl Ultimate Edition at the top – likely due to a sale. Suika Game moves down to #2.
