Europe’s top 15 downloads on the Switch eShop for January 2025

In a recent news post sent out to Switch owners, Nintendo provided a listing of the top 15 European eShop downloads for January 2025.
Just like last month, Super Mario Party Jamboree was the top game. Hello Kitty Island Adventure despite being a fairly late release, manages to come in at #4. Donkey Kong Country HD is also here at #3.

Best-selling Nintendo Switch eShop games in Japan for January 2025

Nintendo shared new data today revealing the top 20 best-selling games on the Japanese Switch eShop for January 2025.
As far as new releases are concerned, Donkey Kong Country Returns HD lands at #3 while Ender Magnolia is at #10 and Tales of Graces f Remastered comes in at #19. Overcooked 2 is actually the overall top seller, likely boosted by a discount.

New data provided by Famitsu gives us a look at Japan’s best-selling games of January 2025.
Although we did see the launch of Donkey Kong Country Returns HD, it settles for second place. Super Mario Party Jamboree, which has been dominant since November, continues its run at the top.

The latest UK software sales chart for the week ending February 1, 2025 is now available.
It’s the only favorite Mario Kart 8 Deluxe coming out on top in terms of Nintendo Switch exclusives. Donkey Kong Country Returns HD, one of the more recent releases, slips to #7.

It didn’t take very long, but Super Mario Party Jamboree is back at the top again after taking over for Donkey Kong Country Returns HD. Hello Kitty: Island Adventure, which just released, is already making an impact and lands in the top three.

Japan’s top 10 best-selling games of 2024, hardware rankings [update: top 100]

January 17: New data from Famitsu not only provided the top ten best-selling games of 2024 in Japan, but also hardware rankings.
The two best performers were both released towards the end of the year. Super Mario Party Jamboree sold over 950,000 copies at retail and Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake was just slightly below that (looking strictly at Nintendo Switch sales). Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom also makes the list with close to 400,000 units.
