Just released today, Sail Forth has a brand new Nintendo Switch 2 Edition plus a “Battle for Croaker Command” update.

There are many improvements in the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition compared to the Switch 1 version. These include enhanced frame rate and resolution (1080p handheld / 4K docked), faster load times, more boats that can be present at once, shadows in water, water reflections, and high quality post-processing such as color grading and bloom. It’s also a free update.

In other news, the “Battle for Croaker Command” update is live for all players. It features a new Croaker quest and faction ship, new features, tons of bug fixes, and various other improvements and content.

Sail Forth delayed

Publisher The Quantum Astrophysicists Guild and developer Festive Vector have provided an update on Sail Forth, confirming that the sailing adventure game has been delayed to Summer 2022. It was previously planned for this year.

Lots of work has gone into the game over the past year. The Quantum Astrophysicists Guild says it “has grown from a sailing simulation game to a full-blown oceanic adventure with tons of new content, quests, characters, and narrative.” The company further explained: “With the scope of the game growing beyond our original plan, we’ve had to push the release to next year to make sure Sail Forth is the epic adventure our players deserve.”
