One of the highlights is that the Deep in Abyss Mode can be accessed immediately. In other words, there are no longer any requirements to unlock it.

A new update has been released for Made in Abyss: Binary Star Falling into Darkness, bringing the game up to version 1.0.3. As well as the usual bug fixes, this update is of particular significance as it removes the requirement that you clear the game’s story mode, Hello Abyss, to access Deep in Abyss, meaning that players will be able to access both modes of the game from the beginning. Spike Chunsoft is continuing its promotional efforts for Made in Abyss: Binary Star Falling into Darkness, and has now prepared a new trailer highlighting the game’s systems, including how to descend into the Abyss and progress through the story. Additionally, it’s been announced that ending song “light” is performed by Riko Azuna. Rei Tanaka composed the music piece while MANYO handled the arrangement.

Riko Azuna is also handling the opening theme song for the TV anime Made in Abyss: The Golden City of the Scorching Sun, which begins airing in Japan in July 2022. “light” will be released as a B-side on the opening theme song CD single.
