Publisher NekoNyan and developer Smee have announced that the comedic visual novel Fureraba: Friend to Lover will be released in the west. As of now, a specific launch date hasn’t been shared.

Here’s an overview of the title:

Over a year ago, the visual novel Aokana: Four Rhythm Across the Blue arrived on Switch in Japan. An English version is now in the cards following the latest Kickstarter success story.

NekoNyan, a company dedicated to visual novel localizations, recently opened a Kickstarter for a physical version of Aokana on PC. The campaign quickly raced past its €10,000 funding goal, and has done so well that the Switch version will be translated into English. The Switch release will be digital-only (at least as things stand now), but new features will be added: a music mode, sprite viewer, and voiceline bookmarker. No word on launch timing just yet.
