Phantom Breaker Battle Grounds Ultimate delayed

The release date for Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds Ultimate has been pushed back – though thankfully it’s not a massive delay. We’ll now be seeing it on April 17, 2025.

Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds Ultimate was originally slated for February 13. However, Rocket Panda Games is moving things back a couple of months due to “unforeseen delays with the implementation and testing of the online modes.”

Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds Ultimate is just a couple of months away, and Rocket Panda Games just shared the opening movie.

The main theme is composed by all girl J-rock band. Also featured are vocals from Japanese voice actress Mai Sato‬.

Phantom Breaker Battle Grounds Ultimate delayed

Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds Ultimate has received a release date, though the game has been delayed to next year. Switch will be getting the title on February 13, 2025.

Phantom Breaker Battle Grounds Ultimate will be sold physically and digitally on Switch. On the physical front, fans can pick up a standard copy that includes the game, instruction manual, lenticular manual, random collectible card, and exclusive downloadable content. Also planned is an Ultimate Edition which adds a Mikoto figurine, soundtrack CD, art book, and limited edition box as extras. You can pre-order a copy now here.

Rocket Panda Games has announced that Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds Ultimate, a remastered version of the side-scrolling beat ’em up, will be coming to Switch next year. No exact release date was announced. The game has been rebuilt in Unreal Engine 5, and will feature enhanced visuals and new features.
