PictoParty Archives

PictoParty will soon be receiving a holiday update that integrates some new features. The game will let you play as a Mii character, share/download custom dictionaries on Miiverse, and share sketches on Miiverse. Bug fixes and feature tweaks are implemented as well.

The new update is set for this Thursday. We have a trailer for it below.

Retroid Interactive has a new update out today for PictoParty in North America. It features multilingual support, increased word length, and bug fixes.

Here’s the news from Retroid’s Twitter page:

Hey! People in NA, there is a PictoParty update on the way:

PictoParty not releasing in Europe on Thursday after all, should be later this month

PictoParty was expected out in Europe this week. In fact, Nintendo listed the game in its weekly download PR published earlier today. But developer Retroid Interactive has since said that PictoParty won’t be hitting the European Wii U eShop due to a bug found within the game.

We are truly sad to announce that #PictoParty won't be released on Thursday. This is due to a bug we found in the game. #PleaseUnderstand

When PictoParty does launch on the European Wii U eShop later this month, it should be accompanied by a patch.

PictoParty hitting the European Wii U eShop on January 7

Following PictoParty’s North American release in October, the title will now be launching on the European Wii U eShop next month. The PAL date is now set for January 7. European pricing is set at €7.99.
